Firmly grounded in sensory integration theory, the new SPM-2 upgrades an instrument widely acclaimed as the best of its kind. Norm-referenced standard scores measure the higher-level integrative functions of praxis and social participation as well as visual, auditory, tactile, proprioceptive, vestibular, and olfactory and gustatory functioning.
